Description
Harvesting Period.
Cardamom plants start bearing two or three years after planting suckers or seedlings, respectively. Harvesting period commences from June-July and continues till January-February. Every 45 to 50 days intervals the matured seeds are handpicked by labours. 6kg to 7kg raw cardamom is required to get 1kg of Cardamom. Drying process is done through Machine dry or Sun Dry.
